Possessing a laid back and smiley character, Lubi Lubi is not to be underrated especially now that he has returned to his homeland to focus on a music career after a couple of years in South Africa.

In Uganda, there is new talent being unveiled every single day. In the music industry in particular, the number of singers is unknown and can’t even be estimated as we get to hear of a new one with each sunrise.

Formerly based in South Africa, Lubi Lubi is here to establish himself as a professional Singer. You might not have come across his name anywhere as yet but Lubi Lubi says he has been singing since childhood.

He moved out of the country to South Africa in 2014 where he has been living since in search for greener pastures and even in the foreign land, Lubi Lubi never lost his passion for music.

Lubi Lubi has now returned to Uganda to focus on his music career and believes he has all it takes to become a great musician because he already has a following of his own.

For inspiration, the singer often notes that he looks up to David Lutalo and the late Mowzey Radio as his role models and his music is blended with melody very much alike to the said musicians’.

He defines his music to belong to the Afro-beat genre mixed with the hugely popularized South African House music.

My music is Afro-beat. We mix it with House (music) because I’ve produced music with South Africans who don’t do it like we do here. I mix it up like that.
