For the next six months, 8-year-old Ugandan rapper Felista Di Superstar will be the brand ambassador for Great Lakes Brands product Gorillos.
On Friday 7th May 2021, Felista Di Superstar, real name Nanyanzi Faith, was unveiled as the Gorillos brand ambassador.
The deal was signed between Felista’s management (headed by her father) and Great Lakes Brands company at their offices in Industrial Area, Kampala.
Felista is expected to represent Gorillos for the next six months and the contract is subject to renewal depending on her performance in the given time.
Gorillos has been recognized as the Best Snacks Manufacturer and Brand by both the Consumer and People’s Choice Awards for 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Felista is now the face of the Gorillos brand and will work in collaboration with the Great Lakes Brands to promote the Gorillos brand as well as her music.
The rapper who made eight years old in April 2021 is expected to make appearances on television and radio programs run by the Great Lakes Brands.
She is also expected to use her images and videos in promotion of the Gorillos brand across different social media platforms including her own.
Great Lakes experessee their pride in having a partnership with the youngster and noted how more celebrities are set to join the brand.
While speaking to this website, Felista noted that being a brand ambassador for Gorillos will expose her to other corporate companies to consider her and choose her for other endorsement deals.
“Not everyone can get these endorsement deals. You get them through blessings and you have to work hard like me to get them. It does not happen out of the blue,” she added.
