Sooner or later, Bryan Sabiiti McKenzie a.k.a Kella McKenzie will be returning to radio as a presenter. This comes three years since he quit Radiocity 97 FM.

As a school goer, I was always happy to tune into radio and listen to McKenzie’s accent – if not as a radio presenter, you’d love listening to him sing.

As an active media personality working at different media stations, McKenzie garnered a following mostly comprised of youths who related with his content and lifestyle.

I love radio and will get back somehow…

His love for uptown music, the cool accent, explosive personality, and of course his looks made him a darling on radio and TV.

McKenzie enjoyed working with Deedan at Radiocity 97 FM

McKenzie had worked as a presenter on WBS TV, Hot 100 FM, Spirit FM, Kampala FM, and the industrial area based Urban Television.

On 29th June, 2018, however, he broke many hearts when he threw in the towel by announcing that his time as a radio presenter was over.

McKenzie was leaving Radiocity 97 FM to concentrate on his then new entertainment franchise – the KELLA PR.

Art by Sents

The self-styled ‘Radio Guy’ seems to have achieved his goals and regrets nothing about taking a long break off radio three years ago…BUT he now ponders on a return!

Recent days have seen the talented Public Relations expert share memories of his time on radio and reactions that people have always sent him todate.

On Monday, McKenzie revealed that he will be back on radio. Through a tweet, he noted how it wasn’t an easy decision quiting radio but it later paid dividends.

He also revealed how his love for radio has never withered out and how he will “get back somehow.”

When I quit Radio, I spent hundreds of hours just scared about the decision I had made. Today I can say, it was the best thing I have done for myself and my family.

I love Radio and will get back somehow but I am glad I say this with peace in my heart and soul. I am a happy man!
