After a series of negotiations, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz signed a multimillion 360 partnership with Warner Music Group in South Africa.

Warner Music Group Corporation is an American multinational entertainment and record label conglomerate founded in 1958 with headquarters in New York City.

It is one of the “big three” recording companies and the third-largest in the global music industry, after Universal Music Group (UMG) and Sony Music Entertainment (SME).

WMG announced signing a 360 partnership deal with the WCB CEO through social media on Tuesday 18th May 2021.

In the music industry, a 360 partnership is a business relationship between an artist and a music industry company.

The company agrees to provide financial and other support for the artist, including direct advances as well as support in marketing, promotion, touring and other areas.

Diamond now joins artistes like Burna Boy, Charlie Puth, Anna-Marie, Cold Play, Kodak Black, Normani, Stormzy, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, among others who are signed to WMG.

Diamond has been in South Africa for weeks trying to cut the deal and we congratulate him upon yet another huge milestone!
