Singer Pallaso has revealed that back then he used to call himself ‘Lizard’ because he was emulating his elder brother Jose Chameleone.

He took the path to rebrand to Pallaso after he realized that he wouldn’t make it to the lime light and command a big following if he continued to walk in the shadow of his brother.

Ever since he took on the mantal, he has seen success and he is now one of the top Ugandan artists that tops music charts with a couple of hit songs.

He also explained that the name Pallaso means “a Joker” and that he is proud to be a “serious joker”, an idea that he got from his Spanish friends during the time he stayed abroad.

According to him, his Spanish friends had no confidence and trust in his music and always looked at him as a joker something that has forced some to eat their words.

I used to call myself ‘Lizard’ because I was still emulating Jose Chameleone. But once I realized that am not him, then I decided to rebrand to ‘Pallaso’, which means a joker. So, am now a serious joker.

He was appearing on NBS TV KURT show on Saturday when he made these statements.
