Sophie Nantongo could be away from our screens and radio but she is earning more money elsewhere than she used to in music.

With songs like Wansumulula, Love Super, Akambayaya, Omutindo, Chapter Mpya, Akamasu, and others, Sophie Nantongo is a big Ugandan music brand.

For the past couple of years, however, she has been silent musically but she is comfortable with the life she is living.

Nantongo reveals that she paused music and resorted to Agriculture as a farmer. She notes that she has several farms now.

Farming earns her more income than music did and she looks forward to expanding her farms to reap more.

During an interview with a local YouTuber, Sophie Nantongo revealed that her farms have passion fruits and other agricultural products.

I decided to go into farming because it brings in more cash. It’s not that I wasn’t earning from music but farming is better.

I am particularly growing passion fruits along with other agricultural products.

With the success achieved so far in Agriculture, Sophie Nantongo does not see the reason for investing more time in music.

She is not the only artiste who has invested heavily in Agriculture and is reaping big after the likes of King Saha, Jose Chameleone, Chris Evans Kaweesi, among others.
