Karole Kasita is not into beef and scandals. She points it out as one way how she has managed to keep her brand clean yet relevant in the industry.

From the glory days of Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, and Radio and Weasel, beef and scandals have been an integral part of most local artists’ fame.

The vice has spread across to the younger generations but a few artistes like Karole Kasita do not see the importance of beef.

It’s just about three years since Karole Kasita stomped the big music scene with her banger Yaka. She has built a big brand in such a short time.

She reveals that she does not understand how scandals and beef amongst artistes help them stay relevant and famous.

Karole maintains that even without scandals or beef, an artiste can have a glorious music career and remain influential.

According to the Burn singer, she tries to avoid artistes who attack her and avoids getting in trouble with anyone.

If any artiste came up and attacked me, trust me I wouldn’t even notice. All these things don’t get to me because I’m never out there looking for such stories. I may even get to know about it after a whole year.

Her comments come in at the back of rising beef between Sheebah Karungi and Spice Diana which she thinks was started by fans.

She reveals that responding to what fans say can sometimes escalate beef which would have been otherwise avoided.
