A decade later, Sheebah Karungi is one of the biggest divas in Ugandan music and has spread her wings across the continent.

Sheebah Karungi Samali’s very first song as a solo artiste dubbed solo ‘Kunyeyeza’ was released today in 2011.

After parting ways with The Obsessions dance group which she joined in 2006, Sheebah embarked on a solo career.

Sheebah’s real breakthrough only happened later in 2014 with the release of her 5-track EP which had the banger ‘Ice Cream’.

10 years later, I look at where I am today, what I have done with myself, my family, my friends, and the clan of beautiful people I have touched with my music and I just praise GOD.

Sheebah’s hard work, fame, and influence have also turned her into a financially successful woman with a streak of businesses including beauty products, Queen Karma Cruise, bar and events businesses.

Her multimillion mansion in Munyonyo is also considered the icing sugar topping on her story of success.

She remembers braving her worries to achieve her dreams despite the endless hurdles she has faced along the way.

“Honestly, I was scared but I was brave enough to get over my fears and chase my dreams no matter how hard and disrespectful it could get sometimes,” Sheebah notes.

She thanks God, friends, and fans for undertanding her, respecting her hard work and privacy, supporting and loving her always.

Happy 10 Years Anniversary Sheebaholics. All this wouldn’t be possible without you my lovers. Thank you for believing in me, understanding me, respecting my hard work, respecting my privacy, supporting me and always loving me. I love each and everyone of you so much. God Bless You.
