According to Tamale Mirundi, People Power leader Bobi Wine is a rich man since joining politics and his youngest child owns an apartment.
Since Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu started his political career, he has received massive support from many Ugandan locals and those abroad.
The former Kyadondo East MP and 2021 Presidential candidate has also been faced with huge criticism on his rise to the helm of Uganda’s politics.
Now leading the NUP which is considered the leading opposition political party in Uganda, Bobi is considered a powerful man in the country.
With power often comes more wealth and according to Tamale Mirundi, Bobi Wine turned his political career and the National Unity Platform into a money making avenue.
The former Presidential Press Secretary and media advisor made the statements while appearing on STV on Tuesday 8th June, 2021.
Tamale Mirundi alleged that Bobi Wine’s brothers sold NUP cards to politicians who wanted to run for different political posts.
He added that Bobi Wine has also made NUP a source of income to better his family and that his kids have benefitted the most with his youngest, Suubi Shine Nakayi Kyagulanyi, now an owner of an apartment.
The motormouthed political analyst predicts that due to above reasons, NUP is bound to collapse because it was built on a foundation of making money rather than tackling the political issues.
He stated that NUP shall not live to celebrate its third birthday if it continues the way it is operating.
NUP was built on money. It shall not live to celebrate its third birthday because it has been turned into a business. Bobi Wine’s youngest child owns an apartment. I predict it will fall.Tamale Mirundi
