Over the weekend, singer Roden Y Kabako was involved in a fierce wrangle with a one Chairman Ntuyo that had him arrested over a piece of land in Busabala.

Roden Y Kabako, real name Yusuf Ssenabulya, is a singer under the Team No Sleep group. He has been doing music for more than ten years.

His rise to fame, however, only came about five years ago when he joined TNS together with Sheebah Karungi, AK47, and others.

He has managed to build a standing music brand characterised by his good vibes, energy, and a carefree attitude about life.

From his hardwork, Kabako has gained considerable financial success and owns a few properties around the country.

His piece of land in Busabala, however, seems to be a center of chaos if we are to go by the scuffles we witnessed over the weekend.

Kabako accuses Busabala LC1 committee headed by a one Chairman Ntuyo and a yet to be identified Hajjat of conniving with unknown people to defraud him of his land.

The self-styled Majje Gakutaka revealed that he fully purchased the piece of land a few years ago with the help of his manager Jeff Kiwa.

A few days ago, however, he learnt that the same piece of land was being set up for sale without him being contacted.

Upon following up on the matter, Kabako was shocked to find out that the area LC1 committee had already forged documents to resell the land to another buyer.

Together with his wife Jazira Ddumuna, friends, and members of the press, Kabako stormed the area over the weekend demanding to know why his land was being resold.

The scuffle saw police arrest and detain Kabako at Kibiri Police Station on Sunday 13th June, 2021 on charges of criminal trespass.

A few members of the press were also beaten while trying to access information from the singer at the police premises.

Kabako was later released and he vowed to fight to his last breath for his asset. He also called upon Bobi Wine to help him.
