Music promoter Charles Olim alias Sipapa was finally arraigned in court and freed from prison on a cash bond of Shs4M on Thursday 1st July, 2021.

Sipapa has managed and supported several artists’ music careers including Chameleone, Buchaman, Lil Pazo, Serena Batta among others.

He revealed that he spent three weeks in a safe house where he saw a number of evil things that happen in safe house detention rooms.

Upon being released from prison, Sipapa kept tight-lipped about the charges that he is charged with as he stressed that he is not sure of the cases as well.

For now, I don’t want to talk about the charges that I have been charged with. I have spent three weeks in a store that you can call a safe house.

I have seen very many uneasy things in there. I have also seen a 50-year person being beaten and tortured. Safe houses even have 5-year-old children in there which is not good at all. So those in charge of the safe houses should improve on the situation or review on what they do.

He, however, thanked all those who have stood in solidarity with him and supported his family for the three weeks he has been away.
