Cinderella ‘Cindy’ Sanyu and Sheebah Samali Karungi are to settle their differences musically through a music battle scheduled for next month.

Sheebah and Cindy Sanyu’s beef is believed to have started in 2018 and has continued to escalate through the years with each side dragging the other down.

A couple of months ago, Victoria University decided to convince the two nemeses to settle their differences musically, and the battle was set.

When?

Dubbed ‘The Royal Rumble’, the battle between Sheebah a.k.a Swagg Mama, and Cindy Sanyu a.k.a The King Herself will take place on Friday 15th September 2023.

The date coincides with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s birthday and Victoria University’s graduation ceremony which will also be held at the same venue.

Where?

Kololo Independence Grounds (commonly known as Kololo Airstrip) has been set as the battleground for the much-anticipated showdown.

The venue, known mostly for government ceremonies and marathons, has been used for a couple of music concerts in recent times registering its biggest crowd during the Eddy Kenzo festival in November 2022.

It is not clear yet how the stage will be designated at the battle but previous battles have had two artists on the same stage separated by a barrier in the middle.

How can I watch it?

First; BUY A TICKET! If you enjoy outdoor concerts, you will enjoy this. Tickets are already on sale for Ugx30k (Ordinary), Ugx100k (VIP), and Ugx3m (a Table).

As media partners, it is likely that Next Media’s Sanyuka TV has been given the green light to broadcast the Cindy vs Sheebah battle LIVE and those who may not make it to the venue might catch it on TV. This, however, awaits confirmation.
