Swangz Avenue singer Priscilla Zawedde alias Azawi held a successful second concert of her music career that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday, 20th October.
The magnificently organized concert had a lot of positive highlights from the way the stage was set up, the lighting, sound, and execution were all on point.
With the gates opening at 5 p.m., revelers started flocking to the venue despite chilly weather, and by 8 p.m., large crowds had gathered at Serena with revelers dressed to kill in Ankara attires.
Unlike other events where the red carpet is always brought out for the big events, this time around, at Azawi’s concert the black carpet was used to give a different feel to concertgoers.
During her performing set, Azawi took to the stage while decked in Ankara outfits as well, sending the crowd into wild ululations.
Several celebrities and public figures showed up for the show and without a doubt, they had fun and enjoyed every bit of the show as it went down.
Keko’s return to the stage after seven years to perform with Azawi was incredibly uplifting as she outdid herself on her “How We Do It” track forcing fans to leave their seats and jammed to the song.
Her rap skill was actually still on fleek as fans enjoyed her prowess. Fik Fameica’s cameo to perform with Azawi their song was a good feeling too.
Azawi performed almost all of her hit songs off the old and new albums with her family in attendance.
Only the end of the show was anticlimactic and people remained seated after Azawi was long gone. She ended it prematurely as she had to catch a flight to Kigali for the Trace Awards.
