Claud Heavy, real name Claud Frank, is a Ugandan Brand Influencer, Content Creator, and Fashion Model, known for his creative TikTok challenge creations.
Born in Fort Portal, Tooro Uganda on 1st March 1999, Claud Heavy looks forward to owning his own unique fashion brand in the near future. He talked to us about his career thus far.
A college graduate, Claud Heavy says he took the path of Content Creation because it seemed the best way for him to communicate with people.
“Content creation is a self-development tool. It is another way to communicate with people,” he told us. He has been able to fuse it with fashion which he says is for identity and something he has always loved.
Claud Heavy says that content creation has been fruitful, however, he is not entirely pleased with how Ugandan musicians underappreciate their efforts.
“People enjoy watching our content but they don’t appreciate it, especially the musicians. We do challenges for them but they say nothing,” Claud says.
The 24-year-old is inspired by anyone who is doing better than him in life, something he derives motivation from. He is grateful for what his fashion and modeling career has done for him.
“It has made life easy for me. I have gotten connections with important people in my life through fashion and I have been recognized by some great men including ambassadors of reputable companies,” Claud Heavy says.
Everything in life comes with its own challenges and Claud Heavy has faced a few already. “Being a Content Creator or Fashion Model you need to be on the ground and I’m not living in Uganda currently.”
He juggles all the above with Electrical Engineering and he says it has also kept him going even on the bad days.
His preference for TikTok over other social media apps goes without saying and he says it is because TikTok instantly connects you with people and shows you the results of your creativity.
