Jaguar and Owino squashed their beef.

President Uhuru Kenyatta last week ended his long bitter rivalry with opposition political nemesis Raila Odinga. Images of the two politicians circulated on social media, and it caused mixed reactions among the Kenyan people with some saying the rivalry has always been a decoy to confuse the citizens, Others applauded the act saying it is what Kenya as a nation needs at the moment, unity.

The Kenyatta-Odinga handshake.

The unity seems to now have spread among other political rivals. Singer Jaguar, real names Charles Kanyi Njagua, who is now the MP for Starehe Constituency has also ended his bitter rivalry with Emabakasi East MP Babu Owino. The two exchanged blows at the Kenyan Parliamentary media center in October last year after disagreeing on the proceedings of the tabling of the Elections Amendments Law report.

The two Kenyan MPs have put the rivalry to the past and now vow to work hand in hand to make Kenya a better nation as a whole. Kudos to them, unity is obviously the better way.
