Having been nominated in the 2018 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), Ykee Benda came out victorious, winning the Best Newcomer 2018 award.
When you sow the good seeds, you reap the good fruits. For Ykee Benda and his team, now is the time that saying makes sense after they collected a prestigious award from the AFRIMMAs.
Ykee Benda did not attend the awards ceremony which took place in Dallas, Texas on Sunday night but he wished his fellow competitors luck shortly before the awards kicked off. You could say that he did not expect much more than the nomination itself.
It was all joy and happiness in Ykee Benda’s camp when the Mpaka Records CEO was announced the winner of the Best Newcomer 2018 award.
